Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef (chuck)

  • 1 – 2 tablespoons chili powder

  • 1 tablespoon onion flakes

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon cumin

  • ½ teaspoon allspice

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt

  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper

  • 1 ½ tablespoons vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 can kidney beans (undrained)

  • 1 can tomato paste

  • 1 cup water

Cooking steps

  • Brown beef in a skillet, drain off excess fat.
  • Put browned meat into an electric cooker.
  • Add remaining ingredients, stir.
  • Cover and cook on Low 6 -8 hours.
