Steamed Date Pudding in a Slow Cooker

Steamed Date Pudding in a Slow Cooker

Steamed date pudding is a truly rich and nutty delight, and easy to make in a slow cooker.

Dates, walnuts, and cinnamon – what better combination could there be for a classic steamed date pudding? 🍮

I’ve made this recipe a bunch of times because it’s absolutely delicious, and the refinements I’ve made over the years have led to a slow cooker recipe I’m very proud of.

The rich, nutty flavour of dates and walnuts, combined with the warmth of cinnamon, makes for a truly comforting dessert. Combine that with the sheer convenience of slow cooking!

The great thing about steamed date pudding is its versatility – you can serve with cream, ice cream, or custard for a delightful dessert.

Makes 6 to 8 servings regular servings, or 1 huge serving just for yourself.
